Spring Updates from St Andrews Event Catering Company19th May 2017
Hello, our lovely readers.
STAEC has had a very busy start to the Spring season which shows no sign of slowing down. We had a busy start to April with lots of lovely clients. On the 1st of April, we had a wedding for James and Lizzie at the stunning Myres castle for a total of 170 guests. It was a beautiful day despite a bad weather forecast.
On the 8th of April, we had a wedding at Inchyra for Erica and Joe. Luckily, we were blessed with fantastic Scottish weather for the day and the party was able to get outside lots.
The next day Diane had an event with a Stag Party where great fun was had by all.
Saturday 22nd of April Diane did a wedding fare at Balmule house in Dunfermline. Balmule is a gorgeous venue and we are privileged to be one of only two caterers that work there. It was a very successful wedding fare where we met lots of couples looking at celebrating their special day at Balmule.
Throughout April we have also had a number of special celebrations to cater for, both a golden wedding anniversary in Anstruther, a private party in Elie and a ruby wedding anniversary in Gauldrie.
We’re now full on into wedding season at STAEC. On Sunday the 7th of May we had a wedding for Cristina and Kevin in Stonehaven in gorgeous Tipis. Sadly the weather did not hold out but the wedding was so beautiful that no one noticed the wind and rain. The wedding was for about 100 guests, who at the end of the night were treated to Christina singing to her husband. Christina is a Jazz singer and it was an amazing end to a special day. The STAEC team felt very privileged to watch such a wonderful experience.
We’re looking ahead to another 30 or so weddings booked out for this year and we’re already filling up for 2018! We’re also excited to be taking bookings at the new wonderful venue in Crail called The Cow Shed! Check out our Facebook page for our pics of the venue and our day to day updates.
Happy weekend everyone! We hope to see you all at one of our events soon.
