STAEC Blog Update

11th December 2016

We have been SO BUSY!!! Sorry for a lack of blog updates, our seasons seem to have rolled into one. More exciting things to come on the blog though so do stay tuned. As well as our very busy schedules, we have had some exciting things happen within the St. Andrews Event Catering family.

We have welcomed two lovely new recruits to the team, Barbara and Linda, who are both settling in fantastically. Our wonderful Diane has been promoted to general manager, meaning even more of our clients get to experience her fantastic self. We are so very excited and proud that Diane accepted the position as she is a linchpin in the STAEC family. Finally, we sadly said goodbye to one member of our team who has been with us from the early days. Lynn retired from STAEC in September after being with us for such a long time, in order to spend more time with her grandchildren and work part time in a less physical role. Lynn you will be missed and thank you so much for everything!

As for a small update on what we’ve been up to, in October we provided a golden wedding party for the lovely Mrs and Mr Davison. Helen wrote in to us with a lovely email:

“Thank you so much for providing just what we wanted last Saturday for our Golden Wedding meal.  We appreciated both your friendliness and professional approach and the calm way in which you took over the kitchen and served us such a super lunch.

The food was lovely, the cranberry and soy sausages were a particular triumph, especially with my grandson Charlie.  I will have to make them myself now, so that I stay as his favourite granny!

Everyone enjoyed the meal very much, the 'boys' thought the gammon was superb and there was certainly something for everyone.  The little sticky toffee puddings soon vanished into the mouths of the children (and the few that were left went home with them next day).

(I’ve been) asked for a recommendation and I will certainly recommend you.

Now we are back home with lots of happy memories (and a slice or two of gammon for supper tonight).

Many thanks again.

Thanks and best wishes

Helen Davison.”

Thank you, Helen, for your lovely email, we love to receive feedback from our happy customers.

Happy Monday all! We wish you a fabulous foodie week ahead.
